Getting Started 

Whether you are making a one-off payment, regular payments to an overseas supplier or moving to another country, Velocity Trade can save you money.

All you need to do is sign up for an account which is free to do, holds no obligations and the online application only takes a couple minutes.

Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for a LatitudeGT account (free, no obligations) 

• Complete the online application
• We send you an email with details to log in to the LatitudeGT platform to obtain quotes of your transaction with our live-streaming rates.

2. Activation 

• When your application has been processed we will activate your account and send you an email to confirm that you can now book live deals. 
• Get familiar with the platform and if known, set up your payees

3. Making a transaction

• Enter the amount you want to transfer to obtain a quote
• When a quote shows you a rate you want, click ACCEPT to lock in that rate
• Select a payee from your list of payees or add a new payee (so we know where the payment is going)

4. Send us your money

• Send us your money (based on the details we provide you with for where to send it, you can also see the list here)
• As soon as we receive your money we send it to its destination!

We absorb all transfer fees so you will not be charged any fees to deposit your money with us or for it to be transferred to your payees.

The standard minimum transaction size is NZD$4,000 or equivalent in other currencies. In most cases, Velocity Trade will accept transactions below this amount. Please see here for more information and conditions on smaller transactions. 

Once your account has been activated and you click Accept, you have locked in that exchange rate. When obtaining quotes, please do not click Accept until you are ready to lock in that rate and make a transfer. If you have accepted a rate by mistake and wish to cancel the transaction, this cannot be done on the platform so please call us and we will reverse the transaction for you.
